I am looking for a different way to set up gauges on my bike. Im not really the best fabricator so if there is a way to modify stock upper fairing stay to accommodate something like a acerbis cyclops headlight and vapor trail gauge system it would be handy to know. Im not sure how these mount as they sit. anyone have these on their bike?

Usually if you were going to use a streetfighter headlight mask like a acerbis you would remove the upper fairing stay. It usually looks really crappy when you mount a mask to the stay in my opinion since it make it sit so far in front of the forks and leaves all the wiring and oil cooler exposed.

If you remove the stay the headlights usually come with rubber straps that hold it to the forks but you will have to relocate the oil cooler and wiring/fusepanel.

Mounting a vapor was very easy. I just unbolted the ignition and made a bracket out of thin metal and bolted it between the triple and the ignition and bolted the vapor to it.

K ill just stick with the stock fairing stay and put the stock upper fairing on. I want to rebuild my bike but i like the simplicity of the trail tech vapor.
