I'm skypeable. Been using it for years. So far only Indiana Hurricane has bothered to find me though he never talks or replies to my messages. Perhaps it's an imposter posing as him. I dunno... I'd like to have a chat with some of you guys. Today especially. I'm deep into engine rebuild mode and would welcome some encouragement, motivation, distraction..... I have a webcam too on my lovely new Macbook pro.
I've started some comparison notes between old and new components which of course will be posted up once it's completed.
Anyone else got any bike related chores going on right now who could do with some friendly encouragement or random abuse?

I like the IM part in particular. I can IM while I'm doing other stuff. But I think everyone stays signed off to keep from having to answer phone calls. Maybe we should IM to arrange actual calls so we can be brave enough to keep the IM thing alive all the time. Although, that will reduce our post counts!

 

A return to good old fashioned phones that ring would be nice. I favour the bat phone.... and someone else to answer it....
Skype is good for IM as long as you're within earshot of the computer.
I dare say none of us will ever get it together but we can live in hope that Sprock will call around before it's too late. Or perhaps he'll want to share his winning glory with us all personally.
