Default 2 weeks off

just had 2 weeks off work, plenty of good weather in the uk, had loads to do at home and have now caught up, took a week to do so i had a week almost to do what i wanted, my daughter was still off school so i took her fishing i know have a new fishing buddy as long as i take a picnic and the shelter,
the car broke down so i had to pick the mrs up from work, she hasnt liked being pillion on my gsxr ect,but i got her on the cane and she loved the comfort, so i said i would pick the daughter up from school on it (bit of teeth sucking from her ) but she agreed, oh my, my girls 10 and she whooped all the way home and wants to come out all the time, so i have a couple of pillions,
and the last bit of news, i sent some info to classic mechanics about the rebuild of my cane, when this months magazine came through the door i couldnt believe it, i had won the best resto of the month (result)

A well deserved win Wheelnut - please accept my hearty congratulations and a friendly back slap. I might just have to go buy that issue.

Both my kids were the same on my bikes. My daughter at a very young age slapping her the oversized gloves on the BMW tank yelling faster, faster! And my son in full leathers behind me on the TL1000 tipping into corners and sliding off the seat to knee down as if we were one. Great memories. Support their interest, make it fun but also make it safe for them.

Cheers, SB

My daughter loves to ride pillion!

She's also a great passenger and light as a feather so you don't even notice she's there. You two are going to have fun together

Congrats on the magazine win!! Well deserved mate

Sounds like a great day! Gongrats on the win! Can`t wait for my son to be old enough to come ride with me, think 4,5 months is a bit young cause I can`t find a small enough helmet Don`t remember seeing that mag here, gotta keep my eyes open if I spot one...

First time my daughter went on my K100RT, she was 3 sat between me and the tank (now outlawed down here). She has never looked back - she now is 25 and travelling the world for a year with her boyfriend - jumping off anything tall and swimming with whale sharks in the Gulf of Mexico. I'm a very proud Dad.

Oh! and a slight thread jack.........

Thanks man, surely appreciated! If only I could find the spare time to finish the alarm project to make up for the title, im currently trying to study timer IC chips to make it a bit more sophisticated but sleeping for 4-5 hours per night with a hourly waking takes a toll on my wits... Gonna get it done, just cant make any promises when...

Handing the thread back now
