I have checked out the solo seat kits and have yet to see one I didnt think I could make. 200 bones a pop... really? I had to try...
Got some green foam used for putting fake plants in to.. display maybe? Not sure, but its is so easily carvable, sandable, and strong enough to keep a shape.Found it ata craft store once when I was with my wife. Strapped on to my RR tail and started cutting, shaving, sanding. Got a great shape, so ran down and got some plaster from the local craft store, then put the foam "solo seat" into a box, and poured in the plaster. Once set, I pulled out the foam and had a great negative to line with fiberglass. Once the glass cured, I broke apart the plaster, and there it was... my raw solo seat for 22 bucks. All it needs is paint. I almost bought the Targa cover.. but dont want the targe sticker on it.. and for 200 bucks, wasnt about to find out if the sticker is clear coated or easy to take off.

Not sure if this is what guys aretalking about...but I did the OEM seat cowl <and regular seat> in Carbon Fiber Vinyl...
