Integrated Tail ....Make one yourself for $12

i know this is a long shot here, and sorry to bring up such an ancient thread. But I hope someone can help. This is an awesome write up btw, i just finished this on my 06 F4i. Almost everything worked flawlessly, except, I cant get my right running light to stay on. signals, brakes, work fine. but only the left side will stay lit up when not applying the brakes (the running light). Does anyone know what could possibly going on here? I've checked for shorts, i've tried another relay, i've redone my work about 3/4 times, but cant get it.

As much as I like DIY soldering projects, here's how to do it with a 5-wire to 4-wire trailer converter
Rear Turn Signal Integration How-To (Trailer Kit Conversion) @ ::[ SportbikeGuy.com ]:: - check the PDF on there for wiring instructions
I tried this on my old EX500, but didn't keep it. The left bulb lit up a lot of the right side of the housing when flashing, and vice-versa. In my opinion, you should make some kind of divider to separate the two bulbs inside the lens, maybe a piece of aluminum sheet metal cut to fit, siliconed in place. This would help better separate the left and right side.
