Integrated Tail light
I am looking for a integrated tail light for my new black/red 1000rr..are the tailights the same as the 05 1000's? If not where can i get one for the 06? Also is it best to get the integrater chip and board thing or the light assembly as a whole? What do you guys think about getting the smoke colored one on the red/black bike? Just lookin for some input, thanks in advance

I have the all in one unit on my 04 Blade (same as 05) and the dealer tells me it will fit on the 06 Blade I have ordered. Never seen the smoked one, would be illegal here (South Africa) but sounds like it would look great!

The smoaked ones look good, but the reason I didn't go with them was cause I was worried about the retards around here seeing it. I got the hole thing from Clear Alternatives bout 90 bucks or so, my sugesstion would be to get the whole thing. Much easier to install, I've heard the chips and boards are a pain in the ars to install. Just my 2 cents. Good luck!

I got the whole thing from Clear Alternatives......Thats definitly the way to go...Plus you can sell your stock one on ebay.....Too much chance to get a bad seal and condensation with the board-swap..
Btw, If you are thinking about getting an exhaust too, wait and get them both at the same time so you only have to take the rear plastic off once....its a biotch!!!!!!!!!
