Default Integrated tail light help

So I just picked up an integrated tail light off.. (cough, cough) ebay and I'm going to install it on my 02 f4i when my new fairings get here. I've searched around, but haven't really found a definitive answer for what i'm questioning. My question is whether or not I'm going to need some sort of resistor for the unit to operate properly. By this I mean having the lights bright enough for a safe ride. Flash speed is really not a bother to me. I actually kind of like the lights blinking faster than usual. I feel as if it makes them more noticeable. Let me also say I do have led flush mounts already up front as well. (I don't know if this makes a difference or not just thinking it may) I know I could wait for it to get here and try, but I'm trying to find out before they both arrive so I don't have to delay the install any longer than I have to. If I do end up needing a resistor, if someone could let me know what exactly I would need it would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.

Yeah, doubtful you'd need to add anything except a fast-blink correction. If you don't mind that, then shouldn't need to do anything except install.
