Default Integrated tail light

I was wondering if anyone had any exsperince with Custom LED or Clear Alternative intergrated tails

The Custom LED seems that it will work better but you have to send your tail out to be retro fitted. This is good because you know the fit and finish will be perfect. However the clear alternatives is its own unit and you just plug and play, but you do have to use an exterior load equalizer were the custom led is all built in. Please I dont know what to do?

Default RE: Integrated tail light

I recently installed a Clear Alternatives on my 1000RR. I had one installed on my F4i before I sold it as well. The Clear Alternatives work great. It's a full replacement for your stock tail light and rear turn signals. After removing the rear signals you will have the dreaded "fast flash" problem. This can be resolved a number of ways. You can replace the stock flasher relay, wire in resistors to the turn signal circuit, or get a flash modulator like the VFX Flash Equalizer. None of these are too entirely difficult. Here's some details:

One note regarding the connector for the Clear Alternatives brake/running light: It doesn't fit with the stock connector on the bike. I actually had to cut the tail light connector from the stock light and wire it onto the Clear Alternatives.

I had Clear Alternatives on my 04 1000 RR and was so happy with it that it was the first mod on my 06 1000 RR. I prefer the faster flash rate! I also had the problem with the plug not fitting the stock connector but a little shaving with a sharp blade got it to work.
