Installed Custom LED Turn Signals in Windscreen
Got this idea from another member on the 600rr.net board, "Randrew".
I thought it would help with oncoming cars being able to see that I am going to make a left turn.
First I purchased two packages of LED's from "Fry's Electronics" for $20ea:

Then I used black vinyl tape and attached the LED's to the inside of the windscreen(attached LED's on the inside of the windscreen to hide them from view.):

Finally I wired them up to my turn signals in the front (Videos of LED's Below)

Overall I am happy with the new LED's, I think they add a new dimension of visibility and for a fairly cheap price.

Don't your front indicators face forward ?
If your LED's are orange - fine - if not it's probably making your intentions even less clear
Not sure about where you are but white indicators are illegal where I live..........
Just my 2c worth

Did you get a chance to watch the two videos? The bottom two images if you click on them are videos . And yes the LED's are Amber in color
White indicators are also illegal where I live, that is why I installed Amber.
Hope that helps a little...
Pretty innovative idea, I wouldn't personally do that to my bike for fear of distracting someone driving beside me, maybe catching their attention and them maybe swerving into my lane. Good job though and install looks very clean!
looks kinda like what i did to my f3. except i used switchback led's and installed them on the splash gaurd behind the front wheel..they light white as drl's, and then click back and forth between white and amber when the signal is on.
