Where are you guys buying these kits from? I don't see the option to purchase from the manufacturer website listed in the original post. (sorry if this question is a no-no)
e-mail them http://www.hidlighting.com.cn/about_en/about.asp
ask for price, shipping and payment (via paypal)
1st generation they called "Model 1 Xenon projector lens light kit"
ultra slim ballast "Model 1105 size is aobut 85mm*65mm*13mm."

So I got my price quote back, but it says with "normal ballast" even though I asked specifically for the 1105 that you listed.

Are we talking about the ballast physical size - we know there isn't a lot of space back there for additional hardware.

Do you think the "normal" ballast would work?

sorry, don't know what u have. i mean
F4 - 1 headlight - 1/2 kit
F4i - 2 headlights - full kit

"Are we talking about the ballast physical size"
yes

At that time they wrote to me:
"Model 1 Xenon projector lens light kit, the ballast is model 1084 . 1084 ballast isn't ultra slim. The ultra slim ballast is model 1105, Pls find attached model 1105 ."

size for 1084 on site is 105x61x27mm

"2.Model 1105 size is aobut 85mm*65mm*13mm."

"Do you think the "normal" ballast would work?"
yes. ultra slim ballas - fully digital, old one - analog.

maybe, after the lapse of time, they make new one model, not 1105, some 1106... ask them for "ultra slim ballast"

Ok - I think I'm finally understanding this. I appreciate your patience and willingness to help Dmitriy! I have an F4i so I need a full kit (I figured this out a few minutes after my previous post)

I'm going to go with the G3 with the seven color led background - just for kicks.

I told her I needed a small ballast because I was installing into a motorcycle - her response was: "Our projector lens only for car,not for motorcycle." She also said they don't sell the 1105 anymore - it's now a 1082. I've asked to order the ultra slim ballast as you suggested, but I guess we'll have to see what part number that really ends up being!

"I'm going to go with the G3"

btw, how much it costs now?

"Our projector lens only for car,not for motorcycle."

she's stupid. what difference... it only can go in headlight or not. for F4/F4i it can, for RR - not, very small inside space. only thing - that all cars i suppose have enough space.

"it's now a 1082"

strangely, it's old one - 114x75x26.5mm according to their site. old one sux (

ultra slim more expensive. in those days it cost "A pair of ballast(1105) ,the price is USD 34 pair.Single is USD 17. It is very high quality, and the warranty period is 18 months."

Default Ebay owns my visa

Well I guess late night shopping has its fun times.
I picked up a set of these as well for my F4i. the thing is my standard bulbs for the bike ar H7's so I opted for them.
I will be posting pics and some dialog when I go forth and rip apart my baby
I live up in Northern Alberta so we still have about 2 months before the snow goes and I can ride so I should have lots of time.

Has anyone else done this on a F4i?
also.. Dmitriy.. you mentioned fake HID projectors,, I'm a little worried about that.
I picked up these ones what do you guys think?

don't know what to think. HID Lighting don't have such box, according to their site, maybe it made by other factory, maybe HID Lighting change package. don't know. all i listen about fake, it's in purple box. this one looks like original - have white rubber at least.
