Ahh, I see.

I have an 04 F4i and my seat is the sliding seat (banana seat) and I would have to find another way to lock up the cables under the seat or somewhere else.

Still, a very nice idea.

Thanks for sharing.

There are people who just like to steal and destroy stuff, around here it would be like honey for bears.

Besides if somebody did that and wanted to use the helmet, it would be very simple to just get a new strap sewed, and a whole lot cheaper than a new and nice helmet.
Just saying...

Looks great! My only problem is the jack-a's at my high school... They're the kind that would spit their dip into your helmet and f with your bike... I rode my 250 Ninja to school one day without the side covers on, instantly I had ppl saying they were going to steal my fuses just for a joke. Next time I talk to em, I'll tell em to make sure they check their car over real good before they head home But yeah, awesome idea!

The point of locking it under the seat is so that you dont have the cable just hanging from your frame. under the seat allows you to keep that cable hidden when not in use. i personally dont want loose cables hanging from my frame...

nice idea... i use the factory helemt hook thing on my F4i already and usually just carried in my jacket. It would be nice to leave the jacket with the bike.
