Edit: I figured out the problem and it is currently running!!!! Thanks to everyone for giving me information so I could fix this 300 dollar bike for my bro! It gives me a little more confidence in working on them too because it all actually worked. The origional problem was the start/idle jets were clogged and it wouldn't start, then when I put it all together, I cleaned the tank and changed the piece for the vacuum on the petcock with one I had laying around from the 966 900rr tank, the vacuum part was clogged on that petcock so it wasn't getting fuel. Its cleaned out and I rode it today! (With all appropriate gear lol) Thanks again everyone!
