Bike wont start. brand new battery. seems to get flooded and than back fires very loud...hasn't ran in a long time...any ideas?

Turns over till the battery dies retty much. Everynow and than kinda spudders like t wants to start....

I dont know how long its b een since its been ran sooo...

 

might be the fuel pump......check that, the I would check the spark plugs...........also do you have good fuel in it

what kind of bike is it???? mileage???

 

Check the simple stuff first plugs, clean out the carbs if has not been started in a while, good fule. If you have been trying to start it and its just cranking you are going to foul the plugs.

 

Currently im suffering the same problem,I checked my plugs out lastnight and they looked ok. I also tore off the tank and all the hardware to the carbs and they also looked ok....
I'm stumped...

 

Turn off your fuel, take out the plugs, turn it over two revs. Put plugs back in, turn fuel on, start. Don't give it too much fuel, just crack on the throttle a couple times, at a time between start attempts.
