Default wiring issue

hello, i have a gash in the main wiring stem towards the front by the cluster. i was wondering if replacing it is a simple task or if it requires a full tear down of the bike.. thanks!

Depends on access to the damage.
Unless it was extremely severe damage, I would consider splice/repair
with a soldering-iron and heat-shrink tubing.

Just pull the tank, before utilizing hi-temp heat sources near the bike.

Pictures might help assess the damage/difficulty.

Be sure to figure out what caused the fraying/problem, in the first place.
Is that part of the harness properly routed?

ok so i've opened it up . i spliced the wires back together. about to take it outside and see what that fixed. there is no front fender so just over time the main wire frayed. horn still isn't working and neither is the lights or even the light icon on the cluster.
