i'm about to purchase a black vortex rearsets for my 05 600rr, however i've heard news that they fade to grey when exposed to heat. and the other thing it doesn't allow the rear brake light to function. any feedbacks pls...

i don't know about vortex being crap, i have heard good things about both woodcraft and vortex...
i don't have em so i don't know, but i think i can chime in on the brake light thing, i am 98% sure there is a kit that you can buy along with the rearsets that allow you to use the brake light...if it's not vortex, then it's woodcraft....i know at least ONE of the aftermaket rearset mfg have a brake light kit....
