Vortex Rearsets
Anyone running these on there bike? Any one know if theres any major differences between these and woodcrafts...a store on ebay is selling these vortex rearsets for 200...and then if you have your stock rearsets in great condition you send them those back and they give 100 bucks back...seems like a good deal to me..and also much cheaper than if i got woodcrafts...what do you think?
Woodcrafts are overpriced and I cant find them anywhere.
I'd stick with the Vortex. 1" up and 1" back, basic rearsets.
Woodcrafts are probably adjustable, whereas Vortex are solid.
I'd get the Vortex and send them your stockers. $100 for a set of nice rearsets is a steal.

another thing...i while back i was checking out a gsxr 1000..and was looking around on ebay to see what kind of upgrades they had...and instead of a whole new rearset...it was just like a bracket to bring it up one and back one...but then after thinking...what abour the linkage for the shifter????
haha ok..hey you might be able to help me out...im gonna rebuild my shocks...with racetech springs, 15w oil, and replace the valves...on the sight i was looking at..they have valves that are oil seal..and dust seal..do these go in two different spots...or is that a option for the same valve....and also..do you think over 100 would be worth racetech emulators?
I think you're confused...
Fork oilseals, and dust seals are 2 different parts.
Our forks are called "Damping Rod Forks", and they arecompletely different from "Cartridge Forks".
Cartridge forks use Valves, Damping rod forks dont, as far as I know...

The cartridge emulators make a difference for racing purposes, but if you're just a new rider I would recommend you spend the money elsewhere.
IE: Rider training, good safety gear, and good tires.
But if you have lots of cash, spend it on those things, and buy the bling for the bike.
Racetech says their gold valve cartridge emulators should sell for $170

hmmm....crap this sight is confusing. so stock f2 forks dont use seals...but they do use emulators.....im not a new rider...but i dont do track hardly at all......but i do live in CO where a twisty road is just a 5 min. drive......so i doubt those would be worth it......
F2 forks use seals, but do NOT come stock with emulators.
Emulators are an aftermarket part that you stuff into the caveman forks we have, to make them act like more evolved cartridge style forks.
Our forks are oldschool, so the emulators "emulate" a more advanced fork.
Emulate: "to try to equal or excel; imitate with effort to equal or surpass"
