BTW, guys with REAL nice custom bikes like RSP919 couldn't sell their bike for that much.

Even though they are real sweet rides, nobody wants an out-dated bike for that much money. They can just buy a brand new bike for the same cost.

Hershey is right. On the other hand, if its just a dream bike for you and you don't mind loosing money on it, plan to own it for quite some time, make it look really nice, etc.. then its just what you choose to do with it. You will loose money though, a lot of it. The only people who make money on bikes are people like Jesse James and OCC. Sport bikes are just extremely addictive money pits. After you loose a bit of money you discover that its better to keep all your stock parts, put them back on when you sell it, then sell your custom stuff seperate.

yea i know....i say i could sell it for that much because where i live...everyone wants a bike..but nobody knows anything about them....so they pay out the @$$ for them. A guy here offered me 4000 cash for my bike just because it was bright yellow and looked shiny.....i would have taken him up on it...except i landed myself in jail and cant get a hold of him now....but the point being that i may be able to get more than i payed for it....but who knows..i may keep it for a long time...and just get a 1000 as well...thanks for the responses though

well the vortex's from sumofallparts are gone........maybe theyll come back sometime...but if not...i looked at those gsxr riser brackets....and it just has a little threaded peice that threads onto the original shifter and into the other mechanism....seems easy to come up with something like that...so maybe ill just do that if i cant get that deal on the vortex's...cause im not spending 240 bucks on fn rearsets
