Where to buy carbon fiber cloth?
I want to try my hand at wrapping my tank as well as making some panels. Where is the best place to buy the cloth?
What about the resin? I was going to use aircraft epoxy resin (used for aircraft fiberglass). That should work fine right?

I'm into radio controlled giant scale aircraft also, and this is the place that I have dealt with in the past-
A good resin I have had good results with, is called west systems, and the folks @ aerospace composites should point you in that direction, or a better one- GOOD LUCK!
btw, you may find that cutting multiple pieces of the carbon cloth, or at least slicing reliefs in it to go around compound curves will help- also if you entertain the idea of a medium weight fiberglass cloth over the carbon, it will form better to the tank, and become almost 100% transparent so you can still see the carbon. but give you some more smoothness, and sandability before final resin coats, or clearcoats.
