Im looking up and down my 06 CBR600rr manual and cannot find when to adjust engine valves, or change spark plugs or air filter. It states a whole lot about oil changes, etc.

I even got to a diagram of all services and their intervals (it lists I for inspect and R for Replace at certain intervals) but these three are not listes... and why the hell does the motorcycle manual only go up to 24k miles? Does honda expect their bikes to last only 24k miles?

Can anyone tell me when to do this service, I had heard 16k miles for valve adjustment from a mechanic.. I dont know if he was just trying to get me to do it since my bikes at 18k miles or what?

On my 99 F4 its 16,000 for valve adjustment so that sounds right. Air filter, you always want to breath freely and the spark plugs, I do mine every spring.

 

The shop manual for the 07/08 600RR indicates that they be inspected at 16K miles.
