ok this winter i want to do u full tune up on my 97 600 f3. including oil and filter,spark plugs, and a i really wanna do a complete carb tune up. i have a sync tool and i'm going to sync my carbs. what else should i do to my carbs because the guy i bought it from never cleaned them. i have a slight hesitation from my carbs being outta sync, i have heard about jets and needles but have no idea what they are. i wanna thouroughly clean my carbs. anyone care to literate on a good carb tune up?? all help is greatly appreciated also is there any way to upgrade jets and needles for better performance.

 

theres a sticky post at the top of the general tech forums on carb cleaning and tuning. also, get the clymers manual for your bike, you can find them online for like $20.

 

a valve adjustment is a crutial part of a ful service if you have the abillity to do it is a good time when you have the tank and carbs off the bike

 

how many miles are on the bike and what do you use it for?
