Default What kind of pipe is this?

My buddy has this pipe he wants to get $50 out of it. He says there are no words or numbers on it to identify it. I'm currently running stock. Does anyone know what this is and it it's worth $50? [IMG][/IMG]

It looks like some universal ebay 60 dollar motorcycle muffler. Pass, unless your gunna get somethin decent, don't bother. It'll prob actually hurt your performance more than help. Plus you can get ones like that new for 50-70 bucks.

Yeah I've looked at so many different ones today on the Internet and it did look like a jardine one I saw but youd think it would atleast have a # on it or something.

Thats what I think, but if it doesn't come with a midpipe I would pass.

I never said anything was. I've never had either so I don't know the pros and cons of either but from reading on this side yoshi seems to be favored. This is actually my first bike so I'm really not in any rush to go away from stock quite yet. I just figured if this was a good pipe for $50 I might as well. Haha. I've never even rode ANY bike before I bout this a few weeks ago. I'm Lovin it though.

Ah well then, welcome! Its a great place and the 06 600rr is a great year! I'm partial to Jardine but Yoshimura is just as good and for slip-ons it all comes down to what looks and sounds good to you. Search Youtube for sound clips of the different companies slip-ons on the 06 and go for the one that you love best (no one wants to admit it but they will all perform pretty close to each other with a stock engine ).
