Default What to do about my exhaust

So I lowsided my bike which left my muffler all scratched up. I don't really want to spend a whole lot of money replacing it. Anyone got se suggestions on what I should do? Paint, powder coat, polish, sand....?

It's purely cosmetic. Everything works fine. It's just that now that I have new fairings, the bike looks nice and thats the only thing that is messed up

That's just cruel Zed. There's a limit to what a guy has to do around here surely!
He low-sided. He's pissed. Surely poor cobs doesn't have to post every scratch of his poor beleaguered dignity up for us to analyse.
Don't be pressurised C, you have my sympathy.
As far as a remedy. Think out of the box. It's purely down to what you think you can do with the rash patch.
How about having a stylish cover plate made. Some thing that looks really obvious as an add on. Painted, carbon fibre finish for example.
You know what they say....
If you can't hide it........ make a feature of it!
Perhaps a picture would be useful after all. He he....

pics would really help....

but...

if its a side exit exhaust (i don't know for sure what you're riding, but i assume since its a low-side that scratched it,that you bike's exhaust is a side exit exhaust) like mine (954) - what i did when i lowsided was drill out the rivets and turned the can on the mount so that it rotated the scratch from being facing out to facing the swingarm - so that no one really sees it.
