What Adhesive?
I am about to do some engine work on my '95 F3 and my shop manual says to use Honda bond A on the engine cover packing. Does anyone know if there is something I can get at my local parts store as a substitute?
Thanks,

Check around in the manual and see if they give you a part number for that honda bond stuff (sometimes located at the beginning of the chapter or the end of the book, Just hunt around a little) If you find a part number, take it to your local store and have them cross reference it... they'll probably be able to give you it's equivalant. (don't go in saying "I need some engine gasket stuff" cause they'll just pick up a random tube and say "this will work". Just go matching part numbers unless someone here who's got more experience than me says something else works fine.
Thanks for the advice.
What about the head gasket? My service manual does not mention using an adheasive on the cylinder head or the head gasket when I replace it. Do I need to use some there as well?

Honda bond can be gotten at your local bike shop OR honda car dealer..Or stuff equal to the honda bond is toyota FIPG (if you have a toyota dealer near by)..
Using both of these for years,i wouldnt use anything in the parts stores because nothing really compairs to these two .
