Wondering if there's a possibility to buy original coloured "adhesive tape/stripes" to my bike.
It's been a bit worn from the boots(worn...wonder if it's the right word).
It's easier to show it on a picture, i did a marking on it.

Good question. I have been looking for original decals/stickers for my 94 cbr1000f. so far have only found some decals someone produced on their own (not replicas of the original). These are on ebay motors under "motorcycle parts-decal/stickers"
Let me know if you find someone that carries OEM stickers. Thanks

Also have a question. I've never put decals on b4...do they come off easily and cleanly (incase I put them on and hate them).

 

Most any of the online part places that have the Honda microfiche online have the original decals and stripes from Honda. Here's an example for a '94. Just select "Stripe" from the drop down.

Yes Idodirt,thats what i'm looking for.They did'nt have the -89 model only from -90.
I dont know if there are any diferences in colour/details.

I thinki'll go to the local Honda dealer tomorrow to see what they can order to my bike!
Probably got to order a whole set...let's hope not. I'll let you know.

 

Ron Ayres carries the oem graphics, listed under "stripe" on their parts diagrams. They don't, however, carry graphics for an 89, since the 1000f wasn't soldin the USin 89 (I think). If that the only piece, can't you buy generic pin strip as it will only happen again.

 

He lives in Sweden so the places in the states won't list his year as it wasn't available states side but was in Europe

 

BLUE1000F, all of the decals and stripes are available individually. You should only have to order the one that you need. The thing to check is the color and whether it's the right or left side. On the Honda microfiche, the items shown in parenthesis ( ) are for the Right side.

I was at the Honda dealer on my lunchbreak,he looked at his "computer fisches" but could not find the partnumbers cause they were erased on the "fisches"...?
He promised to call to Hondas general agent and see if the tape's still availible.He will call me later today.
