My 929 has what sounds like a heatshield vibrating. Not doing anything to the bike, but just annoying. Anyone else have this problem before, and how did you fix it. Only does it between 5-7K RPM's. Thanks

 

There were some issues with 929's having exhaust noise problems. Something along the lines of the exhaust valve while in the closed position, it would rattle against the side of the pipe. Right around 5-6 grand is where its suppose to open, and when it opens, the valve is no longer resting on the pipe and doesn't make the noise from those rpms on up.

Another thing I would do is call any Honda dealership, give them your vin number and make sure all of the updates have been done to your bike. Some 929's had clutch basket failure, and therefore would be fixed for free with an updated clutch.
