Default Valve Clearance adjustments

I am a dolt in the retail automotive business, I am not real excited about trying this myself. Before I decide whether to try it, or pay someone qualified to do it... what is a reasonable price to have the valve clearances set? I appreciate any input.

Don't know wot you guys get charged for over there, but the biggest cost is actually getting to the valves (fairing, cover etc). Its not a job I would recommend unless you really know wot your doing. Bike has to be stone cold before clearances are taken & then there the trip to the shop for the right size shims. Cost me about $200 Aus but that included, plugs, oil change & carbies (F3). Thing is though, I trust these guys with my bike, which adds peace of mind, not just $$'s.

Default valve adjustment

Do NOT attempt to adjust shimmed valves without the proper training and special tools. You could screw up your engine real bad. My $.02.... :-)
