Default Vacuum Sealed Motorcycle Bags

Whats up CBRer's,

So first thing is this is what the thread is about.

First off, how awesome are these things? They sound great on paper. Perfect for long term storage. What I would like to hear is about anyone from the UK on here using this or ever have? Next I would like to know if anyone stateside was able to acquire one? It pisses me off and kind of baffles me, that we still have these regional restrictions on shipping and where we ship products to. Its ridiculous that this isnt in the US. I cant even believe something like this isnt available here. So whats the deal? Any info on these things would be great. Lastly, I may be nagging one of you good old Brits to airmail one of these for me . Really though, these things sound friggin amazing! Cheers.

Hmm, basically a good idea, would be interested to know how rip-proof that material is and how do you get the tires in there, do you roll the bike over the bag and then lift it up around the bike? Would be interesting to get a bike with several sharp edges into one of those without shredding it...

Read a couple standard reviews. From what they said, you basically do roll it on. Most people said they get a person to lend a hand. Probably pretty thick Id guess. Obviously not breathable because thats the point. A gauge that tells you the humidity. A packet to absorb any moisture that did get in. Wouldnt think the sharp edges wouldnt be too much of a bother with some padding on those areas. The bags themselves look pretty big, and any bike I saw in one didnt look like it was too small, in fact, plenty of extra room, to toss some gear in with it or whatever you would like Id imagine. Slow and steady wins the race. The cost is damn cheap too, thats the kicker to me. Conceptually it sounds perfect. No air, no corrosion. Only maintenance required I believe is you need to change the stay dry packets. But 40 quid for not having to replace stuff? Sign me up. Honestly too though even though these look like they are marketed for winter storage, Im thinking more of a longer termed storage method for those not in a climate controlled environment. But Ill be honest. If I have to put my bike up for 2 years, (My bike sits at a constant 65 degrees year round inside a lower level of a house. I STILL want that assurance, but maybe thats overkill.
