Disc bolts are not designed to be reused, but everyone does.

I've no prob using them again, just want them screwed in so everything lines up as it should, considering it's the brakes like

I use a dab of torque paint on all the caliper, disc and wheel nuts. It’s easy to do a quick visual check that nothing has moved.

To get back to brake pads, I use emery cloth rather than sandpaper and I probably wouldn't use a file as it's hard to keep flat. No issues in my opinion reusing them.

Ended up using the pads that came with the discs, they're organic and def don't bite down as well as the sintered Brembos did, prob will stick new sintered in.

I've reused pads on a different disc, after a couple rides it felt the same.
I've got sintered pads on the front and organic on the rear, I figured I don't need all that stopping (ahem, locking) power on the rear...

Using sintered pads will cause more disc wear anyway. The harder the pad the less it wears the offset being the disc wears more.
