Default Unusual tyre wear

On my front tyre it seems to have been wore down more on one side than the other, does anyone know what could be causing this. I would have never noticed if some guy who was over hadent pointed it out while checking out my bike.

Seems to be more wear on the left side or clutch side of the tyre.

think i may have uncovered a possibility, never thought to check the tire pressure when i was doing that little spell of maintenance.....and my front tyre on has 17 p.s.i. in it.

Going to put the correct amount in it and see if i see any change in the wear.

wow, 17 psi, I betcha it turns alot better at slow speeds now..

With the pressure that low, I would do a real good inspection of the tire and make sure there isnt a leak anywhere. even take some soapy water and throw over the entire tire and check for bubbles.

generally the left side will wear a little more because you are constantly fighting the crown in the road makes you lean slightly left while riding. granted this will be only be little bitty amount more

Hi, We usually get wear on the right side over in England, partly from the camber as someone has said but we have lots of roundabouts too for playing knee draggin.

This confused me when my first set of tyres were coming to the end of their legal life. It was surprising how much the right side had worn compared to the left and that was just from commuting.
