Default U.V. protection.

So, I recently got this '87 Hurricane. Mostly black, but tank and fairing red. Nice bright original red.....the worst color for sun fade. Has anyone researched or found the best wax or protectorant against U.V. Ray's ? Maybe a members car, truck, etc. ? Local auto body supply and auto parts store just says " any good quality wax" . Any knowledge out there in the ether ? Thanks....

Always thought red was the worst. Anyway, the auto body guys are right...any decent quality wax protects from UV. I use Meguiars.
