Default Body questions 88 red/black

My side/mid panels(?) are in pretty rough shape. What is the best/cost effective way to clean them up. I am probably going to have it painted next season. I thought about wet sanding then spraying them a gloss black, is there any downside to doing this?

also my tail fairing(?) is missing a tab, any sugguestions on how to resecure. Thanks to my "trusted advisors"!

There have been a number of posts reaint, and problems with plastic panels.
Best option would be to chat to your local spraypainter, but one thing to avoid - DON'T use a spraycan type paint, and then try to cover it with a thinners based undercoat, when you do a proper job next year - the two will react with each other and you'll probably damage your panels.
Blue1000F(Hi Marko) is knowlegeable on powder coats and paint - why not send him a PM ?

There was a post within the past week on the Forum about broken tabs and what to use.......
I use 372 epoxy which works fine...
