Default turning trouble

hey guys , i test drove a 06 cbr 1000 with 10,xxx km today in sylvan lake, it drove really good except at low speeds (5-10 k) when turning say right it felt like i had to fight to keep the handle bars from turning all the way right, same as for left.

the front tire was very low i could press it in id say 3/4" , buddy said he noticed same thing when he took it across street for gas and swears he thinks its the tire, which i could not fill because someone stole the airline from gas station.

more than likely i will bring my compresser if i take the bike , but seeing as its a 2 hr to get there i would save the trip if it could be a messed front end or something. so my question is would a low air front tire explain this issue?

thanks in advance

*edit* i have drove a sport bike before 02 cbr 954rr

yeah, if the tire is that low, it will definately cause all sorts of issues with turning and handling.

Did you ask the owner why it was so low? Normally, tires will can loose some air, but for that much, there may be an issue with the tire.

Definitely. And being that low it would also make the tyre squirm on the rim, not good.

make sure you check the rim too, tire or rim, it will be expensive to replace if 1's messed up

if it is doing as you said it is the front tire .. should be at correct pressure.. i have gotten a nail in the tire and does the same as it is going flat... front of these bikes are super sensitive to changes....

fil it to proper pressure and check rear tire as well make sure both are where they need to be ..

if you are not getting an HSED code or light then i would 99.8% say its the front tire or both being not filled properly
