Turn Signal Mod Questions
I had a couple of questions about doing modifications to the plastics on my bike.
I just bought a 1993 F2, the previous owner dropped it on the left side and smashed up the plastic around the front turn signal. I could fix it, but I was thinking it would be nicer to take the turn signals off, just cut the plastic and make them flat to the body. Then, cut into the backs of the mirrors and put LED one's in there.
My question is two part, first of are mirrors hallow, as far as I can tell they are except for the movement mechanism at the bottom of them, but it's hard to tell. Second, what is the bests method for cutting plastic? I've heard a dremel is best but I've heard mixed reviews is there a better way? Thanks for the help.
P.s. Would it be better to just buy mirrors with signals in them, as far as I can tell there not that much and it would be way less of a hassle.
