Default not sure

I don't have all the details yet (still in the shop), but when I go to pick it up I will ask for some more details. It was not really a whining sound, more of a rattle or ticking, and I could only hear it in neutral

so I've got it back and I asked them to explain it to me again. The part was the Inner Clutch Hub (part no: 22120-MBG-D00). It was the part that connects to the hub which was loose. it allowed the entire clutch assembly to rattle around when the clutch was out. they said they had never seen anything like it before, and let me keep the piece, so if you want photos I'm happy to post them.

happy riding

Default pictures!!!!!!!!!

sorry it took so long, but here are the images. The very center of the hub (the brown (brass?) part) was loose from the rest and could actually move a little bit. it could move back and forth (perpendicular to the direction of travel of the bike). This meant the entire clutch basket was basically rattling around. You can see the direct effect in some of the pictures looking at the inside where parts of the clutch hub are actually breaking off! (btw the stuff in the wells are a bit of leftover oil not rust or anything)

let me know if you have any more questions

I have a strange noise coming from my bike when in N and clutch engaged. Soon as I pull the clutch in, the sound goes away. It's definitely not what I would consider normal as I just swapped my plates/springs and it do not do it before. Sort or a rubbing sound almost. Unfortunately I can't see the pictures. Is it the actual hub that's bad or is it something on it?
