Trailer Light Convertor Mod Issues! HELP!
PLEASE HELP ME! I'm about to lose my mind with this thing.
So here's the deal. I have a '98 600F3 with dual, double filament bulbs in the tail light. I purchased a ebay "tail light integrator" (trailer light convertor) with the intent to integrate my rear turn signals into my tail light. I research, see it's legit, and purchase the unit.
It comes with these instructions:
http://sportbikeguy.com/garage/floor...tbntsignal.pdf
I swear I have it hooked up the way it says, but it is not working. I have tired doing one side (left side), entire thing, and the whole thing with my LED fronts disconnected.
Starting at my factory harness, this is how I have it hooked up (writing this off memory because I've been looking at it so much!!!)
FACTORY HARNESS / CONVERTOR IN
green/yellow(brake+) / red(brake)
orange(left turn+) / yellow(left turn)
blue(right turn+) / green(right turn)
I have the ground(white) and the "tail"(brown) on the convertor un-used as stated in the instructions.
Now; leaving the convertor this is how it is hooked up:
CONVERTOR OUT / TAIL LIGHT(S)
yellow(left turn/brake) / green/yellow(brake+) (left side)
green(right turn/brake / green/yellow(brake+) (right side)
/ green(ground-) connected to harness ground (green)
/ brown(tail+) connected to harness tail+(brown)
and just like stated in the instructions I have the ground(white) and tail(brown) on the Convertor out un-used.
AM I MISSING SOMETHING!!?!?!?
The only thing I see is it says I don't have to use the right side tail+. I've tried it, doesn't make a difference

My buddy just bought a bike with something like that on it and the brake/turns did not work. I checked it out and it was hooked up right but there was a 1.5-2 volt drop across it lowering the voltage to about 10.5 which isn't enough for the regular incandescent bulb. I plugged one of my LED's in and it worked fine. He ended up buying "The Integrator" which will fix the problem.
