Metzlers are fine, they are owned by Pirelli. I'm a Michelin guy, so I can't help you with the pressures, but the tires are fine. I personally put Metzler in the big 5 (in no particular order: Michelin, Metzler, Pirelli, Dunlop, Bridgestone).
