Tire Life Question
I did anx ur tread is almos gone and u have a nice flat area in the middle instead of the apex. That decreases ur stability when u ride over roads with weight grooves in them. Granted i used to rides a SV1000S and those bikes shred tires and chains with a quickness. My tires looked like urs and within the week i had little white spots showing. Just be careful and keep an eye on ur tread. Its just about the most important thing on ur bike.

I agree about your points concerning safety. I think all of us here would agree that safety is paramount. The photos that I posted were at the beginning of the summer. My commute was 130 miles each day straight up and down the highway (no twisties). From the time those pics were taken until I swapped on the new rubber I managed another 10,000 miles out of them before hitting even the center wear bars.
Thank you again for stressing safety to all of us. We can never hear that too much.
