Default time to replace fuel pump contacts? pics!

hey guys, my bike has been acting wierd lately when i get on the highway in particular, it starts to feel like its constantly running out of gas, but i can maintain a constant speed if im careful with the throttle because as soon as i give it throttle or let off the throttle it stutters and then it will either keep stuttering and die or accellerate (if i gave it more throttle). I know this could be because i need to clean my carbs but i figured id start with the easy stuff before i do that. just wondering if anybody could tell me if these contacts look like they have seen enough.

you can use a small file, not a real rough one and file those where they are shiny again and it should work.

Excellent pictures. They don't look that bad, although they do look pretty dirty. Cleaning up with that finger nail file may just do the trick.
