Default Throttle cables?

I have an 06 1000 rr.
I layed the bike down and take very minimal damage.
but the throttle cable were some how bent and are now causing the throttle to stick.
I have the new cables now but cant see how to remove the old ones or how to install the new ones.
can somebody help me?

Default RE: Throttle cables?

On my F3, I take the handle bar off which gives just enough slack to take out the cable ends from the throttle tube. Of course, my clip-ons are on top of the triple clamp. If I remember correctly, the 1000 RR is under. So, this would require lifting the bike off the front wheel and loosening the right fork tube and sliding it down to pull out the clip-on. If you have a hefty cutter, you could cut the cables since you're not going to reuse them. It would make taking the old ones out of the throttle tube a cinch. Of course, getting to the lower end of the cables I don't know from lack of working on a 1000 RR. But I can imagine that it would require removing the tank and air box at the minimum.
