i recommend just polishing your frame.
i plan on chroming my frame this winter but for now it is polished and you can not tell it is not chrome. sure it has some upkeep with cleaning and sanding but its cheaper for now. but i also dont do any hard riding.

really sweet bike! mine is pretty good looking not quite as sharp as that but it is what it is for now.
