Default Thoughts about old rubber?

I recently picked up an 02 f4i with 2400 miles and still on the original BT010. I do like them and am familiar with them because my first F4i I bought with 4k miles many years ago had them.
But I'm a bit wiser now and concerned about riding on old rubber. There is a very small bit of dry rot in the center of the tread grooves and they don't lose any air.
Thoughts?

Do not ride on those. It's a crash in the making....The safe life of rubber is 3 to 4 years, depending on how they were stored.

Get new ones and you will see how hard the rubber is on the old ones.

It's not worth it. I have ridden on older tires, but they had no miles on them and were very soft until I could afford to drop money on new tires. Still though, it's not safe, especially when talking about dry rot/flat spots/ hardened rubber... It'll be night and day difference riding on new tires

Thanks guys, I'm leaning toward the BTS21s I've had great experiences with the stones.
