Default Tearing out the carbs

So I have a 94 F2 and I am really tierd of the way my engine sounds. It always seems to be making a ticking noise at low RPM's and especially when it is cold in the morning, it sounds like i can hear the piston going up and down, but i havnt had it die on me or anything. So I plan to take apart, my carbs, and clean them and i really think i need to get to the jets and clean those out because when i had it synced it just came unsynched again. Any advice on where i could find a service manual or any advice on how i could go about taking off the carbs... and or cleaning them. Also I think I need to adjust the timing, and i want to try to do it myself because it takes over a month for the shop near me to get to my bike. So if anyone has any suggested protucts they know of i could buy to help me with this i would greatly appreciate it.

it may also be a cam chain tensioner that needs to be replaced. apparantly its notorious for going out on CBRs or Hondas.
