What is the tank capacity ? I filled it up when I only had one line left and I barely squezzed 3 gallons. Now I' back down to one line and it started blinking, which is reserve I believe. So what, is our reserve 1.5 gallons?

My 06 F4iholds 4.76 gallons according to my owners manual. When mylow fuelbars come on my bike will take about 3 gallons too.

I am not sure if the term 'reserve' is the correct term anymore given that we have fuel injection and no petcocks or valves to turn.

The manual says that when the fuel guage flashes there is around 1.0 gallons remaining, and that the total talk is 4.8 gallons or so.

I typically get 130-145 miles before the guage starts flashing, at which point I usually
think I have about 30-40 miles before its actually empty. I have never run it out of gas, and don't want to test it !

 

I just ran the search and some people are having more than one bar flashing. I have only one the bottom bar flashing, what is the difference if you have 3 flashing instead ?
