I'd say wait until you are ready for new tires. Tires aren't meant to be taken off and but back on. Besides, tires only last for about 5k miles anyways... this will give you time to make sure you're picking the right color for your bike. Most shops in my area want between 30 and 50 just to mount the tire per wheel. So that will add up fast.
