Swingarm Stand
Ok, very simple question, searched but couldn't find an answer.
How do I go about lifting the rear of the bike with a swingarm center stand? I know how it works, but not the exact process so I want to make sure before I try and possibly drop the bike. I have a Lockhart Philips stand and an 03 CBR600 F4i.
Do you need 2 people? Because in my mind, if it's on the kickstand, the bike will be tilted so when you get the stand underneath the rear swingarm, only one of the things will be touching the bike's swingarm. So when you press down on the stand, it will move the bike back up to vertical and then lift it off the ground. But to me, this seems really risky of dropping the bike. So do you need 2 people, one to hold the bike vertical and another to work the stand? And the same with putting it back down?
If possible, could you please explain the exact steps in using a swingarm stand to lift the rear of the bike, and the reverse process of putting it back down on the ground without dropping it.
Sorry for the newbie question, just don't want to risk dropping the bike.
Thanks!!

The first time you use the stand have a friend watch and be ready if something happens, which most likely won't.
Step 1 Bike on kick stand rear stand in back of bike
Step 2 Stand behind bike and stand it up so it is on wheels and balance it take your time
Step 3 Put rear stand so it is just in front of rear axle make sure it is even on both sides
Step 4 push down on rear stand so bike comes up
Step 5 Pat yourself on back on how easy it was
Just have your friend there he won't have to do nothing. On putting down I put the kick stand down and grab the bike, pick up the rear stand put bike on kick stand. It is a lot easier then it looks

i have the vortex and what i do is place the stand under my right spool and push down on the stand. as the bike rises the left side catches. the left side starts out in front of the spool at an angle at first. practice prctice practice.
