I'mconsidering going streetfighter with my F2. The front end's a mess (plastics and stays). I know a few of you have done streetfighter conversions, so any input would be appreciated. What do I do about lighting? I've seen guys mount the headlights to the forks, and that looks pretty good. What about signals? Also, what do you do about gauges? Is it possible to keep the stock ones? Any other ideas?

 

Keeping the stock gauges would be ugly IMO. Go with Veypor gauges, or look on eBay for other brands. eBay also has streetfighter headlights for the F2.

 

Lighting is a big open field for streetfighter bikes. Just go on ebay and look up "streetfighter" and there will be plenty of headlight pods out there. You can also use "stunt", I recentlly did this to find a pod that included directionals that I put on my F4i. The first thing you should get if you haven't already is a clymer (sp)manual. This way you will know your wiring first hand. Best of luck.
