I took my bike(01 f4i) apart for the first time and after i reassembled it, It wouldn't start. All the lights come on and all but when i hit the starter there is loud clicking noise from the battery area. I checked the battery voltage and it seems fine.. Any idea??

 

Clicking noise by the battery, but you are sure the battery is ok because everyone will tell you it's the battery and you need a new one. If you KNOW THE BATTERY IS GOOD.

1. the clicking is the solenoid. ONLY IF THE BATTERY IS GOOD.

Is the Fi light flashing you a code? How far apart did you take the bike. Make sure the starter is hooked up. Also you can take the starter out and test it. If by "taking apart" you mean you took the motor out it could be alot of things. What did you take apart? Also the bank angle sensor could be in upside down. The kickstand switch could be unhooked. Is the fuel pump priming when you turn it on? You can hear it whirrrrrrrrrrr under the tank.
