I just put new headlights on my 2010 CBR600rr. Now it has trouble starting sometimes and after I start it, it is fine till I'm taking off and go past like 7,000 rpm. Then it stalls, but after I get it goin again it's fine till the next time I shut it off for a little while and go to start it again.

 

Have you tried disconnecting the lights temporarily for troubleshooting and observing whether the condition persists?

 

I hooked the old light back up and it didn't do it for a couple days but I was riding today and it did it. I rode about 200 miles today though and it only did it once.

 

Are the "new lights" just different bulbs or is this a HID kit with ballasts?

 

They are just new bulbs. They say that they work with my bike and the hook up is the same. The new ones are LED bulbs and the old ones are just regular bulbs.
