I read several threads about this but couldn't find the right answer

My bike used to start just fine, but after some time on the road, when I turned it off to get some gas for instance, and tried to turn it back on, it would crank but wouldn't start. So I had to wait like 10 minutes and it would start.

I didn't use it for maybe a week and now it doesn't even crank.

I read in other threads that it might be the battery so I just changed it, but nothing. The dashboard lights are on but my headlights are off (I'm not sure if they're supposed to be, I don't remember if they turn on when you start the engine). I never use my kill switch but tried that anyway. Even though I'm on neutral, I tried to start the engine with the stand up or down. I checked the starter relay, both fuse are OK...

I have no idea what's wrong with my bike. Any help will be much appreciated.
