Default stalling

I have a 2005 cbrf4i. This morning on my way to work the bike started fine and ran fine. I turned on my brights and the bike completely shutoff. The headlights and the fuel pump shut off and wont come back on. All my othwr lights work. Im thinking its the relay finally went out. Any ideas?

First thing I would check would be the fuses. Its odd that they both went out though, since they are not on the same fuse. I can't imagine they share the same relay either.

does the bike still crank over?

do you have any after market electrical items that could be causing issues?

If you were tired when driving, theres not a possibility you accidentally hit the killswitch instead of the highbeam did ya? I know, not likely, but stranger things have happened when tired and your mind doesnt work like it should. Just throwing it out there.

Ive had this issue before where one of my relays in the back tail section came off and wouldnt allow the bike to start and it had the same symtoms. The bike turns off but the fuel is cut off. Think about it on these bikes when you ctank them the headlights go out for a second. Well after two hours of messing with it i pulled what i thought was the prob relay out and created a jumper. The bike finally fired so it is the relay. Ik sounds weird but on these bikes the tip sensor relay is tied in with the headlights and into the fuel cut off. One relay goes bad it kills all of it.
